Abstract

In this article, “Education of the Future OECD Learning Framework 2030 Vision or Project” is summarized, then what this vision document teaches about education and education systems is briefly discussed. This discussion has largely focused on what this vision document teaches about education policy makers and learning and students, teaching and teachers. After all, it has been determined that this Project or Vision Document sees education systems as ecosystems rather than independent ones, that decisions regarding education should be made with the participation of all stakeholders, and that it is recommended that other stakeholders be seen as change agents besides students and teachers. The Vision Document also aims to hold students accountable for the well-being of themselves, society and the planet by going beyond the traditional understanding of school quality, within this framework, equipping students with disciplinary knowledge, epistemic knowledge and procedural knowledge, cognitive, metacognitive, social and emotional regulation skills and the competencies they result from; it suggested that the basic approach of gaining these to students should be the reflection process.
